Robin Elms, DVM

Dr. Robin Elms attended both Vanderbilt University and Connecticut College majoring in Biology. In 1999 she graduated form the University of Parma Veterinary School in Italy, and worked in England and Italy, where she was intensely involved in cat spaying and feral management. She completed her US veterinary equivalency requirement at Iowa State in 2004, and worked in NJ until moving to Maine in 2009. 

Dr. Elms saw a need for at-home euthanasia services in mid-coast Maine, and in 2010 opened Peaceful Passages, an at-home euthanasia and house-call veterinary service that complements the work she does at The Cat Hospital. She will travel up to two hours to help any animal pass in the comfort of their own home with their beloved caregivers.

Dr. Elms has two grown sons and many cats, dogs, and other pets.
